This Privacy Policy explains how Payment Rules Manager collects, uses, and protects information when merchants install and use the app on Shopify.

Payment Rules Manager may collect and store the following information:

Payment Rules Manager does not collect, store, or process customer credit card numbers, card security codes, or other payment card details. Payment processing remains handled by Shopify and the merchant's configured payment providers.

How we use information

We use information only to provide and operate the app, including to:

Customer data

The app can use rule conditions such as customer tags when configured by the merchant. Payment Rules Manager does not sell customer information. The app uses Shopify data only as needed to perform the payment customization rules selected by the merchant.

Data sharing

We do not sell merchant or customer data. We may share information only when required to operate the app, comply with applicable law, protect our rights, or respond to lawful requests.

Data retention and deletion

We retain app data for as long as needed to provide the app to the merchant. When Shopify sends a shop redaction request, we delete stored session and plan records for that shop. Merchants can also request data deletion by contacting support.

Security

We use HTTPS and Shopify authentication mechanisms to protect information in transit. Access to stored information is limited to what is necessary to operate and support the app.
